fresh fruit and vegetables Finding healthy snack recipes for kids can be difficult so we have tried to help you by putting a few ideas together to make it easier to avoid all those things which they so enjoy but are not so good for them, such as crisps and sweets.

Kids love finger foods because it means they don’t have to stop to eat. An energetic child is a normal child, and why would you interfere with a little princess dressing up for a photo shoot or a knight fighting an alien!

When my little grand-daughter was one year old she loved bananas but unfortunately as so often happens once children realise the world has more to offer than bananas then the good foods get rejected and it becomes difficult if not impossible to get them to eat healthy snacks. This is when you have to get imaginative to be able fight back.

Our healthy snack recipes for kids are some you will know about but hopefully there will be some which are new to you as well.

None of our recipes are suitable for children under 2 years of age.
